State and Local Competition Info

The Road to a National Medal Starts Here

Competition Structure

Local, regional and state SkillsUSA conferences and competitions are like a bustling hive of talented students and industry professionals, abuzz with energy, creativity, and a shared passion for excellence. Students participate in local and/or regional events to qualify to attend their state conferences, and those winners move on to the national level at our SkillsUSA Championships.

While we’ve provided some resources below related to state and local SkillsUSA competitions and events, it’s important to remember that these events are managed by their respective state or territorial associations, not by the national office.

State and Local Scores

Looking for competition scores related to a SkillsUSA regional or state event? Visit the Scores page on our SkillsUSA Registration site. Note that while some states and regions use our scoring system, not all do. If your state or region isn’t reflected on the site, please contact your state director.

For a comprehensive list of state dues, conference dates, contact information and more, download the 2023-24 State Dues and Deadlines document.

For other questions related to your state or local event, visit your SkillsUSA association website or reach out directly to your association director.
