After finding a grave marker in the trash at a South Jordan, Utah, cemetery, Stephanie Jencks was moved to restore respect to the plots. For a Girl Scout project, Jencks began by researching cemetery records. Unable to find plot identifications, she decided to make headstones that read “Unknown but Loved.” Jencks, Bingham High School’s SkillsUSA vice president, enlisted fellow members to help pour 130 markers.
