Meals, Wheels for Stranded Pets

When Hurricane Harvey devastated the Gulf Coast of Texas, students at El Paso Independent School District (EPISD) Center for Career and Technology Education showed up to help displaced pets at two facilities: the Animal Rescue League of El Paso and MuttLove Dog Rescue. Students held drives for donations of pet supplies. In addition, the veterinary technology class built a wheelchair for a dog named Camila who had lost use of her back legs.
